French made brass piston-valve baritone horn (also called a baritone) musical instrument typically used in brass bands. Made for W.H. Paling and Co. Ltd.
Manufactured by Couesnon and Co. in France in 1910.
Inscription and Marks
'EXPOSITION/UNIVERSALLE/DEPARIS' inscribed in a scroll with '1900' in circular medal
underneath.
'HORS CONCOURS/MEMBRE DU JURT [CA logo]'
'COUESNON et CIE/94 RUE D'ANCOULEME/PARIS/ [pineapple or grenade/10] W. H. PALING & CO. LTD/SYDNEY N.S.W./BRISBANE'
