Description
We were taking a few days summer rest at Port Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia, but the unusual cold southerly winds for this time of year hit soon after we arrived. The ocean and waves were wild and sea spray was everywhere. Even on the camera! This unusual wild weather turned the beautiful white sea foam into a yellow slush both on the waves and on the seashore.
It was even difficult to stand up, and going near the edge was a no no with this strong wind. I have never been in a wind so strong.
I captured this image just below the Lighthouse at Port Macquarie called the Tacking Point Lighthouse. A popular place for both Australian and overseas visitors. A pathway lead out to a small ocean lookout.
