Description
A very red rooster and a speckled hen living on a farm in New South Wales, Australia. The rooster's feathers were a lovely dark rich red and had a beautiful shine as if he conditioned them with hair conditioner. I loved the speckled hen with all the texture and varying colors in her feathers.
I couldn't resist adding the speech bubble with the hen asking the rooster - "Will You Marry Me?" There were numerous other hens that lived on the same property and I felt this one was jealous! Just adds a bit of comedy to this chicken portrait.
