The Australian Cockateil is a beautiful bird. It lives in the wild and also makes a lovely household pet. They are relatively easy to breed.
I captured this image in parkland in the north of Sydney.

(Nymphicus hollandicus), have the characteristic features of parrots: a curved hookbill and zygodactyl feet (two toes pointing forward and two pointing backward). These small parrots are native to Australia, and are closely related to cockatoos.
