Thanks for your comment, Kyle :) Yes the fish was pretty big but afraid I am not sure what kind of fish. Apparently they can swallow rather large live fish whole.. and I would imagine it would wriggle for a while! I was on a moving boat so could not see the final outcome. It did appear to me that the Cormorant was heading to shore perhaps to make a slower meal of his catch.

Amazing capture! That looks like a giant fish (do you know what kind?) caught and not too happy to be staring down its captor's throat here! So does the Cormorant really manage to win the battle and gulp that whole thing okay? Does the fish put up a mighty fight, if eaten does the unlucky prey get swallowed wriggling all the way down as well?!
